Here is the opening of the article – looks like a good read!
Who better to ask about the future of dining than the man who cooked up the present? A decade after David Chang electrified the restaurant world with Momofuku, we encouraged him to invite three of America’s most innovative chefs for a spirited chat about what’s next in food. And then we invited ourselves.
My wall today on THE THICK….it is always a bit strange…..

Dewey Nicks and The Hollywood Reporter cover with Michael B Jordan and his stylist, Jeff K. Kim…..
We look forward to the annual THR issue on the top stylists ( Stylists and Stars: 25 Most Powerful + The Talent They Dress ) as we know a lot of them from all the shoots we do with stylists and celebrities, and it is always fun to see who makes the list but even more fun when you get to shoot a cover for the special issue!
Dewey loved working with the team from THR and Micahel and Jeff – a good time was had by all.
Sam Jones shoots George Clooney for NESPREESO with McCANN Worldwide.
Nespresso – we love our machine here at Eye Forward – a gift from the Nespresso client a few years back and of course we like many are sweet on George so a great way to start our week. This is the first North America print ad that has featured George and we showed you the broadcast commercial a few weeks ago but here is the print ad produced by Kara Glynn and done with one of our favorite art producers Wendy Leahy. Oh what a shoot it was…..
Spencer Lowell shoots the artist Alex Israel for The Hollywood Reporter
Alex Israel has a show on at Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills with the writer Brett East Ellis. Looks like an interesting collaboration.
From the Gagosian bio on Alex Israel:
Alex Israel was born in 1982 in Los Angeles, California. He received his B.A. in 2003 from Yale University, Connecticut, and received his M.F.A. in 2010 from the University of Southern California, Roski School of Fine Arts, Los Angeles. Based in Los Angeles, Israel engages with the particular culture of the local film and media industries. Mining the “food chain” of show business, he interrogates and confounds the fine line between “talent” and “raw material” while re-framing and re-presenting manufactured items whose formal and auratic properties are often overlooked.
The show is up till April 23rd and there is more information here
