Eye Forward supports the creativity of the artists we represent.
Our photographers are experienced, distinctive and offer bold perspectives
for our clients. The work they produce is extraordinary and iconic.
We bring decades of industry experience to what we do.
We find solutions and solve problems for our clients.
Eye Forward is the conduit between our client’s needs and our artist’s point of view.
Eye Forward’s founder Carol LeFlufy's love of photography has deep roots
in a home darkroom and a high school teacher and mentor who encouraged her
to follow her dreams. After making a living as a freelance photographer in Canada
she moved to New York City and worked as Annie Leibovitz's studio manager.
Carol joined Art + Commerce as a producer and assistant agent to Jim Moffat
and Anne Kennedy the firms founding partners. When she became an agent
at Art + Commerce, Carol represented Richard Burbridge, Mary Ellen Mark,
Perry Ogden, Frank Ockenfels 3, Taryn Simon, Ellen von Unwerth and Max Vadukul.
Carol also helped develop Archive, Art + Commerce's stock and licensing division.
In 2004, Carol moved to Los Angeles and founded Eye Forward,
which represents photographers Sam Jones, Spencer Lowell, Dewey Nicks,
Frank Ockenfels 3, Perry Ogden, The Ingalls and Bella Newman.
Carol is a photographer, a collector of photography and photography
books and has taught at the International Center of Photography in New York,
The Center for Photography in Woodstock NY, and at Art Center College of
Design in Pasadena, California.
