This shoot was one of Patrik’s favorites and biggest challenges and most fun as he was shooting alongside broadcast as well as doing his own stand alone set ups. Working with the real soldiers and equipment from the Army was a thrill for him and I went back to look at these images because of watching American Sniper – which if you have not seen it I highly recommend you do. Either side you are on – pro or against the military I think these dynamic images capture part of the diversity and breadth of what they do.
Time flies – Spencer was there over Thanksgiving – where did the last couple of months go? I love these images – I want to visit Dubai one day. So much new construction and architecture, so many people and such a study in contrasts.

Clint Eastwood’s film topped box office charts in North America for a second week, as the box office showed yesterday, as the debate swirls over the Oscar-nominated war drama. Is it pro war or anti war? You decide – either way it is a very fine film and a great performance by Mr. Cooper!
